Tom's Luscious Lemon Bars

Crust Topping
2 sticks butter 4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups self-rising flour  6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Cream butter, flour and powdered sugar. 2 cups sugar
  zest from 1 large lemon  
  1/4 cup all purpose flour
Pat in bottom of a 9" x 13" pan/pyrex dish. Mix all ingredients and pour over baked crust.
Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes
   until the filling is firm or doesn't move/shimmy when the pan is moved.
  Ovens vary. Also, you don't want to burn the top.
Sprinkle immediately with powdered sugar and wait until cool to cut.
For a more tart flavor, add more lemon juice.
